The area around Alfaz is said to be the best in Spain. In this area, there is a so-called "micro-climate" (as in Gran Canaries) created by the high mountains, the coast and Albir that is located directly on the coast. A lovely place to take a good bath or just to lie down and rest in the water's edge. In the middle of this area Albir and Alfaz village are located, and spread beyond lies the different urbanisasjonene. For the Nordic people, there are some familiarities with the coast and the impressive mountains right within. The surroundings of the area is amazing with a series of small mountain villages and the coastal village spread around, where you can experience the real Spanish everyday life away from any other Nordic people and tourists.
