The area around Alfaz is said to be the best in Spain. In this area, there is a so-called "micro-climate" (as in Gran Canaries) created by the high mountains, the coast and Albir that is located directly on the coast. A lovely place to take a good bath or just to lie down and rest in the water's edge.
